Pool and garden

A pool, a garden and a table outside.

The house stands on the slope above Portorož and the garden steps down in terraces: the apartments and their terraces at the top, the lawn and the pool below, the bay beyond the railing.

The pool

A swim with a view of the bay.

The outdoor pool is on the lower terrace of the garden, edged with tiles and a white railing that opens onto the Bay of Piran. There are sun loungers and parasols beside it, and a table with wicker sofas in the shade.

Guests write about the clean, slightly salty water and that in good weather you can swim as early as the beginning of May. The pool is seasonal.

The pool and the bay in summer sun

“The pool is just the right size, clean, with slightly salty water. … Lots of slopes and steps, but that is part of the charm of the place.”

Jakabné, Hungary · Booking.com, August 2026 · translated from Hungarian

“A dreamy, quiet location with a view of the sea. Perfect for sitting outside on the terrace in front of the apartment. The pool is great too and invites you in as early as the beginning of May.”

Andreas, Austria · Booking.com, April 2026 · translated from German

“The whole experience is rounded off by the great location, a larger pool of its own and an outdoor terrace for breakfast and socialising.”

Terraces

Every apartment has its own table outside.

The apartments have their own entrances with terraces for breakfast and dinner in the open air. Some are covered, others have a parasol, and from all of them you can see the sea.

Garden and house

A red house among olive trees and palms.

A large family house with white balconies, a pergola and oleanders. Around it is a well-kept garden of lawns, olive trees, palms and flowers, where the apartments are set apart from each other. The hosts live in the house above the apartments.

To be fair

Good to know in advance.

The house is on a hill

A steep street with steps leads down to the sea, and the way back is uphill. For guests who find walking difficult it is hard going.

A steep driveway

You drive into the yard down a steep slope through a side gate; there is just enough room, so park carefully.

Mosquitoes in summer

As everywhere on the coast, there are mosquitoes on summer evenings; a repellent in your bag comes in handy.
